St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.

The RN uses established nursing models and advocates for patients and families to support outstanding outcomes. Required: 1 year of experience, ACLS and BLS within specified timeframes, and core pediatric/trauma certifications or equivalents.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 1 year of start date
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
• Documents administration of care in patient records.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Promotes healthy lifestyles and prepares families for self-management.
