Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a registered nurse to join our acute care team. You will render professional nursing care under supervision, assess patients, administer prescribed medications, provide treatments, observe responses, and report progress to the care team.

You will assist physicians with examinations and prepare instruments and equipment as needed. Minimum education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN).

Formación

• Must hold a nursing degree (ADN, diploma, or BSN) and be eligible for licensure.
• 1–2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

• Assess patients' condition and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and document pertinent observations.
• Assist physicians with examinations and prepare instruments/equipment as needed.

Summary:

Under general supervision renders professional nursing care in accordance withphysicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of

patients. In doing so assesses patients' condition administers prescribed drugsprovides treatments observes patients' progress records pertinent observations and

report’s reaction to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations andprepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.

Education:
Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing RN Diploma or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years.

Experience:

One to two years’ experience required.

Credentials:

Registered Nurse
BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross

**Hire-On/Retention Bonus of $20000.00** (1 year experience required)
