Job summary

Under general supervision renders professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans to provide for the comfort and well‑being of patients. Assesses patients, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, observes progress, records observations, and reports reactions to drugs and therapies. Assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments.

Minimum education is RN licensure (AD diploma/BSN). Requires 1–2 years of acute care experience plus BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under physician treatment plans.
• Assess patient condition and administer prescribed medications.
• Provide treatments, observe progress, and document observations.
• Assist physicians with examinations and prepare instruments and equipment.

Summary

Education

• Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing RN Diploma or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years.

Experience

• One to two years’ experience required.

• Registered Nurse
• BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross

Hire-On/Retention Bonus of $20000.00 (1 year experience required)
