Broward Health Coral Springs is hiring a registered nurse for full-time day shift. You will render professional nursing care, assess patients, administer medications, provide treatments, and monitor progress according to physicians’ plans.

You’ll assist physicians and prepare instruments and equipment for exams. Requirements include RN diploma or BSN, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS credentials; 1–2 years hospital experience may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with RN diploma or BSN.
• Two years of recent acute care experience if trained elsewhere.
• Current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients, administer prescribed drugs, provide treatments.

Summary

Under general supervision renders professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being ofpatients. In doing so assesses patients' condition administers prescribed drugsprovides treatments observes patients' progress records pertinent observations andreports reaction to drugs and treatments. Assists physicians with examinations andprepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.

Education

• Minimum Education and/or: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing RN Diploma or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years.

Experience

• One to two years’ hospital experience required. May need to complete appropriate specialty training for the area.

Credentials

• Registered Nurse
• BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross
