Job summary

IHA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Hauenstein 2 step-down unit in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time role offers a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical skills, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities for professional growth.

The RN will provide patient-centered care on a 16-bed unit, with a 12-hour day shift and a focus on monitoring complex cases while supporting continuous learning and development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• Certs: BLS, ACLS (ACLS at time of hire or w/in 6 months).
• Experience as an RN required.

Responsibilities

• Full time RN position on a 16-bed step-down unit.
• 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts (7a–7:30p).
• Provide patient-centered care with high-level monitoring and support.
• Collaborate with a skilled, multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
