Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated registered nurse in Labor & Delivery to lead the delivery of high-quality nursing care, guided by the nursing process and coordinated with families.

You will implement prescribed interventions, document care, and support education for patients and colleagues; a sign-on bonus is available, and the facility offers mentorship, education, and career growth opportunities within HCA Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree of Science in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Nursing is preferred.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• National Certification in area of specialty is preferred.
• One year of L&D nursing experience is required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.

• Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty
• Required Experience: Must have one year of L&D nursing experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
