Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team for 3 shifts per week, 8:00am–4:30pm. You will provide professional nursing care using the nursing process, delegate and supervise care, and document patient teaching and interventions.

Required: Associate in Nursing, NC nursing license (eNLC may apply), BLS, and at least one year of RN experience; Surgical Services/CCU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in NC; eNLC may apply.
• BLS certification required; National Certification in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership facilitating professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Delivers, delegates, supervises, documents care and patient teaching.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Hours:3 shifts a week, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

• Required Experience:One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience: Surgical Services/Critical Care or strong hospital nursing experience.
• Required Education:Associates in Nursing
• Required License:Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• Required Certifications:BLS
• Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty
