Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on 4x9-hour shifts (8:00am–5:30pm). You will lead nursing teams, apply the nursing process, document care and teach patients and families, while coordinating with physicians and care teams.

Required: ASN, NC RN license (eNLC may apply), and BLS/ACLS. One year of RN experience; surgical services/CCU experience preferred. Excellent Benefits included.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Surgical Services and/or Critical Care experience preferred.
• ASN required.
• Current RN license with NC Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• National certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to facilitate professional nursing care for patients.
• Uses nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.
• Mentors and guides nursing staff to ensure safe patient care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Hours: 4 9hr shifts 8:00am-5:30pm

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience: Surgical Services/Critical Care and or strong hospital nursing experience
• Required Education: Associates in Nursing
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty
