Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks an experienced nurse leader to provide professional care delivery and supervision. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teaching for families.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing with NC RN licensure and at least 1 year in Labor & Delivery, plus ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation within 30 days of start. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in North Carolina (eNLC license may apply)
• 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.
• Implements medically prescribed interventions.

What qualifications you will need

• Required Education: Associates Degree of Science in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree or Masters in Nursing.
• Required License/Certifications: Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON
• Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Preferred License/Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty
• Required Experience: Must have one year of L&D nursing experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
