Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing Program is required.
• Current Alabama RN licensure or licensure by endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care per provider orders.
• Take and record patient vitals; perform EKGs and other point-of-care tasks.
• Document health history and update the EHR; report critical values.
• Educate patients and families per protocol, within scope of practice.
• Assist with pre-visit planning and monitor patient outcomes between visits.
• Provide coverage across departments as needed to maintain staffing and care quality.
