Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a qualified registered nurse to oversee medication administration and clinical care within our Cincinnati community.

The RN will handle admissions assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure resident safety and well‑being. Strong communication and computer skills are required, along with a current Ohio RN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
• RN license current in the practicing state, CPR certified.
• 1+ years of experience in skilled, sub-acute, or memory care settings.
• Ability to communicate in English with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/administer medications per federal/state regulations and company policy.
• May assist with admissions including assessments and documentation.
• Develop and update acute and long-term care or service plans.
• Track clinical data (wounds, infection control) under direction of the Director of Nursing.

This individual is responsible for the daily clinical aspect functioning to meet all residents’ needs.

Job Description

• Responsible for medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long‑term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e., wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general consultation regarding health‑related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provide proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.

Area of Study: Nursing

Years of Experience: 1+ years

Type of Experience: Skilled, sub‑acute, or memory care setting

Special Certifications: Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified.

Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.

Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills
