Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for medication supervision and resident admissions. You will implement acute and long-term care plans, manage clinical documentation, and ensure communication with medical staff.

• Responsible for medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Responsible for completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• May be responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of any change in resident’s health and provide proper documentation.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
• Understand role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school, or two years of related experience and/or training.
• Area of Study: Nursing.
• Years of Experience: 1+ years.
• Type of Experience: skilled, sub‑acute, or memory care setting.
• Special Certifications: Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified.
• Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
• Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills.
