Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years experience in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the nursing plan to the health care team.
• Develops nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, and documenting conditions.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Evaluates patient care by adhering to standards, measuring outcomes, reviewing records, and updating plans as needed.
• Maintains safe patient care environments by following infection control policies and storing medications properly.
