Job summary

Avera Maryhouse is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care, develop care objectives, and support residents, families, and friends in understanding conditions, medications, and self-care. You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team to provide holistic care and coordinate with other providers.

The role includes creating and implementing nursing care plans, educating residents and families, evaluating outcomes, maintaining safety and infection-control

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodations.
• 1–3 years of experience in clinical or long-term care (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care by reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating with the health care team.
• Develops nursing care plans by evaluating medical histories, documenting conditions, and setting objectives.
• Teaches healthcare requirements to residents and families to understand condition, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates resident care by monitoring outcomes and adjusting plans as needed.
• Maintains a safe environment by adhering to infection-control policies and coordinating with the team.
