Job summary

Avera St. Mary's is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a rotating days/nights schedule (7:00am-7:00pm and 7:00pm-7:00am) with a 72-hour/2-week commitment in Pierre, South Dakota.

You will develop care plans, review physician orders, and coordinate with the health care team while educating patients and families about conditions and medications. Sign-on bonuses and relocation support are available, along with strong CARE values.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by reviewing physician orders and communicating the care plan.
• Develop nursing care plans and document patient conditions and needs.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards within the unit.
• Coordinate with physicians and other health professionals to ensure quality care.
