Job summary

Allure Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure high-quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations, guided by the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include planning shifts, administering medications, charting, and maintaining patient confidentiality while leading a collaborative team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Solid knowledge of nursing practices and related laws and guidelines.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan shift services, programs, and activities; provide reports as required.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents when needed; lead on unit.
• Complete charting and document care provided; transcribe orders.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure privacy of resident information.
• Provide IV care and supervise safety and equipment use.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
