Job summary

Allure is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and support the Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, admitting/discharging residents, medication administration, and coordinating with other departments to sustain safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and related laws/regulations.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents and report on shift activities.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Lead inter-department coordination to maintain quality care.
• Perform routine charting and transcribe physician orders.
• Monitor safety and confidentiality of resident information.
• Provide IV care and other professional nursing duties as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
