Job summary

Crescent Care of Elgin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Elgin, IL. The RN assumes responsibility for a group of residents per shift and delivers nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

The RN will provide and document care, manage medications, and supervise CNAs while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is available.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Ensures assigned work area is maintained clean and sanitary.
• Directs and supervises nursing aides to ensure care is rendered per standards.
• Takes and records vital signs and administers medications as ordered.
