Job summary

Carondelet St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking an RN to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and document care thoroughly. Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, 1 year RN experience, AZ nursing license or compact license with ability to obtain AZ license in 30 days, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care per established policies and procedures.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; communicates patient condition.
• Coordinates care as primary liaison across disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Documents care and patient education; ensures patient safety and delivery of ordered treatments.
