SoftPath Medical seeks a Contract Nursing position in a Surgical ICU at Medical Center in Boston. The role provides 72 hours biweekly guaranteed with 36 hours of day/night rotating shifts, and every other weekend required. All shifts are 12-hour rotating.

Candidates must have 2-3 years of ICU experience, CPR-AHA ACLS certification, and experience in Surgical ICU and Trauma/Level 1 Trauma; Epic EHR experience is required to support patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related work experience in ICU or surgical ICU.
• ACLS certification (CPR-AHA) required for this role.
• Experience in Surgical ICU and Trauma/Level 1 Trauma is required.
• Epic electronic health record experience is required.

Position Details

Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments - guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.

Shift Information

Unit Description

The Surgical ICU is an 8-bed unit caring for a variety of surgical patients, including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery cases. Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3. Epic electronic health record experience is required.

Additional Requirements and Notes

• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted
• Start date: ASAP with a 4-week compliance lead time
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays, except holidays
• Nurse Manager will conduct interviews
• Interview availability dates and times must be provided at submission
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Travelers who have been permanent employees at this health system within the last six months are not eligible
