Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Dearborn Heights, MI. As an RN you will be responsible for a group of residents per shift, delivering care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

The role requires CPR/BLS certification, strong communication, infection control adherence, and ability to multi-task. Experience in long-term care is preferred; licensed in Michigan is required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Current license to practice in the state as an RN.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards.
• Maintain nurse station and treatment areas in a clean, safe state.
• Record vital signs and provide IV and respiratory care as licensed.
• Document care and resident responses accurately.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance.
• Coordinate with non-licensed staff to meet standards.
• Communicate with residents, families, and physicians as required.
• Assist with care plan changes per professional standards.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company conduct policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
