Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Registered Nurses to work in public school districts across California for the current school year. This in-person role supports students with chronic conditions in a school setting, focusing on pediatrics and school health, with a start date ASAP and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold CA RN license and be in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• TB test negative within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with providers, teachers and parents.
• Provide 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precautions, etc.
• Monitor immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate health status and follow-up care with parents.
• Stand, walk, and sit for long periods; frequently bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds.
