Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking a School Nurse to join our on-site team in San Jose, CA. This in-person role runs Monday through Friday with a pay rate of $50-$55 per hour and an ASAP start date.

You will collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare providers to support students with chronic health conditions and ensure state regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates hold a CA RN license, a valid School Nurse Services Credential, CPR/BLS, and TB clearance, with at least one year of nursing

Qualifications

• CA state RN license.
• Valid School Nurse Services Credential.
• At least 1 year of Nursing experience.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Current negative TB result.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Frequent bending, crouching, and lifting (up to 40 pounds).

Education

CA state RN license

Valid School Nurse Services Credential

1 year nursing experience

CPR/BLS certification

Current negative TB result
