Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage care for students with chronic conditions in coordination with providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide 1:1 health support as needed (g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precautions).
• Maintain immunization records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide first aid and emergency care; develop and drill emergency plans.
• Keep accurate, confidential health records and communicate with families.

Overview:

• In-person

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications:

• CA state nursing license
• New grads welcome

• Current negative TB result
