Job summary

Ro Health is hiring licensed LVN/LPN nurses to work in California public school districts for the school year. In-person opportunities across the state with a Monday–Friday schedule while school is in session. Start date ASAP, with support to obtain school nurse credentials.

Responsibilities include managing care for students with chronic conditions, providing 1:1 clinical support, and coordinating with families and school staff. New grads welcome and benefits vary by employment status.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• 1:1 support that may include g-tube, trach, catheter, diabetic management, seizure precaution, etc
• Monitor and manage immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
