Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Wound Centers to provide clinical care, care management, and patient/family education to support wound healing. You will work in collaboration with the provider treatment team within Hartford HealthCare’s network.

Requirements include CT RN licensure, ADN or Diploma in Nursing, with BSN preferred, and 1+ year wound care experience across acute, home, or ambulatory settings.

Formación

• Active RN license in CT required.
• ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience with at least 1000 hours of wound care exposure.
• Wound care experience in acute, home, or ambulatory settings preferred.

The Registered Nurse in one of our Ambulatory Wound Centers provides clinical care, care management and patient/family education to support the healing of acute and chronic wounds, in collaboration with the provider treatment team.

Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma in Nursing required, BSN preferred
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience including wound assessment and dressings
• >2 years of progressive wound skill experience in acute care, home care or ambulatory site preferred
• Prior wound care training preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in CT required
• Wound Care certification preferred
