Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking a Weekender RN to provide safe, age-specific nursing care on designated floors in Parma, OH. The role requires two 12-hour shifts from Friday 7:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM, paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate for those shifts.

Weekenders are eligible for full-time medical and dental benefits; other benefits are at part-time levels. Sign-on bonuses of up to $4000 are available.

Weekender Program – Salary and Schedule Overview

Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels.

2 Surgical is a 17 bed Surgical Acute Care floor that specializes in Bariatric, Neurological, Orthopedic and Gender Care patient surgeries.

7 Surgical is a 26 bed General Surgical/Medical floor that care for general surgery patients, as well as overflow from our sister 2 Surgical floor

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
