Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team. You will participate in assessment, planning, and evaluation of resident care and ensure nursing practice meets state and federal guidelines.

You will review records, implement physician orders, and collaborate with the care team to maintain high-quality outcomes. Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required, with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Maryland Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience caring for residents in acute or long-term care is a plus.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident records to ensure nursing practice meets state and federal guidelines.
• Review referrals for consultation or treatment and validate nurse plans.
• Monitor resident responses to care and adjust plans as needed.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license
