Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover in Hoover, Alabama is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our nursing leadership team as a Weekend Supervisor. This role leads weekend shifts, coordinates patient care, and ensures smooth clinical operations while supporting staff.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license required.
• Previous nursing experience required.
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor or nursing leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and staffing during weekend shifts.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct patient rounds and monitor quality of care.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and clinical concerns.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and assist with coverage needs.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and clinical compliance.
• Support infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with staff coaching, education, and problem resolution.
• Serve as a visible, hands-on resource for the weekend nursing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
• Previous nursing experience required
• Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, Unit Manager, or nursing leadership experience preferred
• Hospital, rehabilitation, or long‑term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to lead confidently while supporting a team
