Job summary

Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Cahaba River is seeking an RN to join our weekend-only team in Alabama. You will provide skilled nursing care on 12-hour shifts, 7a–7p or 7p–7a, with compensation in the $32.65–$42.85 per hour range based on experience.

This role focuses on rehabilitation patients, collaboration with therapists and physicians, and maintaining high-quality documentation while keeping weekdays free for other commitments.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Dependable and committed to weekend shifts.
• Experience in hospital, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to rehabilitation and long-term care patients.
• Complete assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and Nursing Assistants.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Promote patient safety, dignity, recovery, and independence.
