Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID is seeking a Night Shift, full-time Vascular Access Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy and patient care on the Infusion Therapy Clinic.

The ideal candidate holds Idaho RN licensure or a compact state license, BLS certification, and at least one year of infusion therapy experience, with a commitment to safe, evidence-based care and collaboration with a dedicated team of clinicians.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Idaho or an approved Compact State.
• BLS certification required - to be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• One year experience in infusion therapy delivery to patients is required.
• Remain current with center-wide occupational educational programs.
• Must attend and participate in departmental and center-wide meetings as they relate to Infusion Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient nursing care on the Infusion Therapy Clinic unit using the nursing process in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Deliver care to patients receiving treatment in Infusion Therapy Clinic and stay current with Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice.

Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal, and regulatory standards. Provides nursing care to patients receiving treatment in Infusion Therapy Clinic. Stays current with Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice.

Qualifications

Job Requirements;

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or approved Compact State .
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - must be obtained within 14 days of hire .
• One year experience in infusion therapy delivery to patients is required .
• Remain current with center-wide occupational educational programs.
• Must attend and participate in departmental and center-wide meetings as they relate to Infusion Therapy.
• Ability to navigate and apply Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice.
