Memorial Health in Springfield is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Magnet hospital team. You will provide high-quality patient care on 12-hour shifts, participate in a dedicated unit environment, and support family communication while maintaining compassion and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities include care for surgical and medical patients, IV/IM procedures, and patient education. Benefits and incentive programs are offered; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for surgical and medical patients with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Positioning/transfer of average adult patients and ability to perform routine patient care tasks.
• Perform procedures including IV insertion and IM injections; manage lines and drainage as needed.
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, patient-focused environment and respond to family concerns.

Job Description Summary:

Up to $10,000.00 Sign-On Bonus

Part-time: Two 12-hour days shifts weekly

5B Urology/Nephrology/Kidney Transplant:

Registered Nurse will provide care for surgical patients and medical patients, with team leading, dressing changes, CBI, treatment for end-stage renal disease, postoperative transplant care, various medication routes and lines, central line care, patient education, complex comorbidities and plan of care. Includes young adults to geriatric patients in all private rooms.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.
• Environmental working conditions include exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue, contagious diseases and/or radioactive or other potentially hazardous materials.

Pay Transparency $30.23 - $48.37

Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
