Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time temporary night shift position (7p–7:30a, 36 hrs/week) with an every-other-Saturday/Sunday schedule for a 6-month temp assignment. Opportunity to convert to full-time permanent.

The position offers $60/hour base rate, with an average rate including shift differential of $69/hour, and includes potential for enduring employment beyond the temp period. Nursing licensure and CPR are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time temporary position on night shift (7p - 7:30a, 36 hrs/week, every other Saturday and Sunday) shift for a 6-month temp assignment. This position has the opportunity to become a full-time permanent position after the temp period.

6 month temp-to-perm assignment - $60 per hour (plus shift differential $69/hr avg rate)

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a newly opened (July, 2018) 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.

In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility will also offer services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Qualifications

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?

A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.

Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.

CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.

Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible for the temporary position.
