Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring full-time registered nurses for night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week, every third weekend) with a comprehensive benefits package. There is potential for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

New rates based on experience and shift: $32.00-$50.00 per hour. This position also qualifies for a $20,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for career development across UHS locations.

Qualifications

• PA RN license required.
• CPR certification required upon hire.
• Psychiatric/behavioral health experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.).
• Cover various shifts as needed and participate in weekend rotation.
• Deliver compassionate inpatient psychiatric care and maintain patient safety.

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a newly opened (July, 2018) 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.

In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the new facility will also offer services for treating those with co‑occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Qualifications

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?

• A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required.
• Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.
• CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation if needed.
