MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no after-hours call and an average of 15–21 patients per day.

The role uses the Epic EMR; you’ll perform histories and exams, implant contraception, see new OB patients, and provide prenatal care through all pregnancy stages, plus interpret labs and tests.

Formación

• 1+ year experience in Women’s Health or related NP/PA role; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year obstetrics experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred.
• California NP licensure and furnishing license as applicable.

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
