Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Unit (Days). The role involves delivering nursing care and supervising RNs, LPNs and assistive personnel in line with state nursing regulations.
The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates outcomes. Licensure in Georgia or multistate, plus CPR, are required. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for external hires with two years RN experience.
Qualifications
- ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if GI call.
- NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D.
- PALS within one year of hire in PACU.
- SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

- *Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
- *Healthcare Provider (CPR) or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- *ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
- *NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
- *PALS within on year of hire in PACU
- *NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
