Job summary
Tanner Health seeks a Registered Nurse to perform nursing functions and supervise other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in patient care per state guidelines. The nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates outcomes to ensure high-quality treatment.
Required GA RN license or multistate license, plus CPR. ACLS/NRP/PALS must be obtained within specified timeframes. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is available for external hires.
Qualifications
- Active GA RN license required.
- CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire in specified units.
- NRP within one year of hire.
- PALS within one year of hire.
- SCIPP required within 90 days of hire.

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
See License/Certification Requirements
- Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
- Healthcare Provider (CPR) or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
- NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
- PALS within on year of hire in PACU
- NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
