Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse in Surgical Care to join a collaborative team delivering compassionate, safe, and high-quality care on the unit.

The RN will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and support a safe environment with excellent patient experience. This is a full-time night shift position with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Registered Nurse license for the state of practice.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication.

We’re Looking For
