Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for weekend coverage in Reading, PA. The role focuses on leading nursing staff, overseeing patient care plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality rehabilitation and long‑term care.

The RN Supervisor will supervise a team of nurses, participate in hiring and training, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Prior experience as an RN, with a focus on rehabilitation and long‑term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of nurses, including directing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and mentorship, and addressing concerns and issues.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that the highest level of care is provided to each patient.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and report on patient outcomes and quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
