Job summary

Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team and oversee patient care in a rehabilitative, long-term setting.

The RN Supervisor will coordinate care plans, supervise staff, participate in hiring and training, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining a positive work environment. A $6000 sign-on bonus is offered along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Prior experience in rehabilitation and long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong clinical assessment and care-planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of nurses, including directing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and mentorship, and addressing concerns and issues.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for each patient.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and report on patient outcomes and quality of care, identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
