This role involves overseeing daily operations, completing assessments, coordinating care, and ensuring patient safety with attention to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

The position requires PA RN licensure, CPR certification, and prior experience in rehabilitative or geriatric settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN by PA State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
• Must possess a compassionate and caring demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide guidance and support to direct care staff.
• Complete nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication administration.
• Perform medication reconciliation and monitor vital signs.
• Communicate information to unit staff clearly and courteously.
• Seek supervision/direction from a physician as needed.
• Assist the medical doctor as required.
• Attend departmental staff meetings and participate actively.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and proper boundaries.
• Assist with staffing and activities as assigned by DON and Unit Managers.
• Direct patient care when necessary.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a premier long-term care facility in Abington, Pennsylvania. Job Summary:

As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and providing guidance and support to the direct care staff. You will also be responsible for completing nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and vitals. Additionally, you will convey accurate information in a supportive and courteous manner to the unit nursing staff, seek out supervision and direction from a physician, and assist the medical doctor as needed.
