Position Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the safe, continuous operation of the assigned department, including patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals. The Supervisor is a designated leader responsible for implementing, supervising, and evaluating safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. They maintain clinical and professional competency appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and needs of the patient population. Service excellence is promoted at all times.
Candidate Qualifications:
Education, Licensure, Certifications:
A valid, permanent Multi-State RN License from your state of residence is required. If you hold an RN license from another Compact state, you must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License within 30 days. CPR certification is required. Additional certifications depend on the specific unit. A BSN is preferred or candidates actively pursuing a degree with a designated graduation date. Relevant mandatory certifications are required within the orientation period.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care or comparable experience with demonstrated leadership abilities. Certifications as required by the assigned unit. #LI-CG2
