Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Adheres to the Core Values of Piedmont Medical Center Nursing Service, participates in the Shared Governance Model, and complies with the Piedmont Medical Center Code of Conduct and ANA Standards for the Professional Nurse. Competencies are met as defined by the Nursing department and Department of Education.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum Licensure and Certification: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from your state of residence is required. If you hold a license from another Compact state, you must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License within 30 days. BLS certification is required; ACLS certification must be obtained within the orientation period.
Minimum Experience/Additional Certification: At least one year of telemetry experience is preferred. CCRN certification is also preferred.
