ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Beaufort, SC. The role features 36 hours per week on a 3x12 night schedule with travel stipend included and a mix of MS/ARU/PCU assignments.

Requirements include 2 years med-surg and stepdown/PCU experience, SC license, and certifications BCLS, NIHSS, ACLS. Vaccines and background checks are required, with RTO coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of med-surg experience.
• Step-down/PCU experience required.
• South Carolina license is required.
• Shift includes weekdays, every other weekend, with holidays as needed.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS, ACLS.
• COVID-19 vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions allowed.
• Flu vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions allowed.
• RTO must be approved prior to assignment start.
• No license or background hits accepted.
• Local radius: must not live within 50 miles of facility.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Step-Down/PCU nursing care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Adjust care plans per unit protocols.

• Shift dates: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed
• Certifications required: BCLS, NIHSS, ACLS
• Travel experience preferred
• 1st time travelers accepted
• No license or background hits accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions allowed
• Flu vaccine required - medical/religious exemptions allowed
• RTO must be approved prior to assignment start
• Minimal to no RTO preferred
• Valid state license required with submission
• Local radius: must not live within 50 miles of facility
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff
• Floating required across MS/ARU and PCU/stepdown units

Distance Requirements

• Cannot live within 50 miles of facility

Other Required Documentation:

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
• Two current clinical references
• Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
• Must pass background check and drug screening
