Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of employment is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• One year of experience in geriatric or long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to assess and effectively communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and provide care to residents according to the Plan of Care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform resident assessments.
• Participate in daily resident rounding.
• Provide supervision to nursing staff.
• May assist with insertion and maintenance of IV therapies for residents.
