Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time day shift (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday) to support our geriatric residents across our long-term care setting. The role requires valid RN licensure in the state of residency, CPR certification, and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities include directing and coordinating patient care, leading staff, and participating in QA/QI committees, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care and effective communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in state of residency.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years nursing experience in geriatric or long-term care setting required.
• One year supervisory experience required.
• Ability to assess and effectively communicate with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead staff effectively.
• Plans, directs and coordinates patient care to residents.
• Participates in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement committees and initiatives.
• Schedules and leads daily resident rounding.
• Acts as primary point of contact for pre/post discharge communications.
