Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Resource for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation, while supporting safe and effective clinical operations in a busy lab environment.

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for procedures, coordinating with physicians and staff, and mentoring new personnel. The role requires an RN license with a nursing diploma/associate degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred,

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• <2 years in cardiac or electrophysiology labs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.

• Administer conscious sedation and monitor hemodynamic, neurologic, and respiratory responses.

Job description

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) Resource specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. The nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation, while supporting safe and effective clinical operations. Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for procedures, serving as a liaison between physicians and hospital staff, managing equipment and supplies, and mentoring new staff and students. The position involves administering conscious sedation, monitoring patients’ hemodynamic, neurologic, and respiratory responses, and advocating for patient needs.

Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree, RN license, with preferred candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree and <2 years of experience in cardiac or electrophysiology labs. Prior procedural nursing experience and precepting skills are advantageous.
