Job summary

Mercy’s Neurology 8 East unit seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time days to provide direct patient care to patients with neurological conditions. The role emphasizes neuro assessments, safety-focused care, and close collaboration with neurology providers and therapy teams.

Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessments, care coordination, documentation, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Mercy's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or within 30 days of hire).

Nurses gain valuable experience with complex neuro assessments, safety-focused care, and close collaboration with neurology providers and therapy teams.

About the Role

The Neurology RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessments, care coordination, documentation, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with Mercy's mission and values.

This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy clinical complexity, teamwork, and continuous skill development.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)

Preferred Qualifications
