Job summary

Cedarbrook Health & Rehab in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time 3pm-11pm shift. You'll supervise nursing staff, oversee daily patient care, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations to provide high-quality outcomes.

You'll collaborate with the Director of Nursing, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to ongoing care coordination and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Current RN license in the state of employment
• Peripheral IV certification
• Two years of clinical nursing experience
• One year of management experience (preferred)
• One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
