Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Taylorville Correctional Facility in Taylorville, IL. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients and work under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor.

The role involves evening and night PRN shifts with two per month as needed, offering compensation at $44.71 per hour plus PRN differential. An RN license and Associate's degree are required, along with CPR certification and ability to obtain security

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Shift:

PRN - 2 shifts per month as needed; Evening and Night shifts

Pay rate:

$44.71/hr. + PRN differential

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
